2020 Lone Star Creek Yarra Valley Pinot Noir

The Lone Star Creek vineyard was established in 1997 by Robin Wood and Gillian Bowers, who are primarily contract growers; 2017 was the first vintage under their own label. As they were selling fruit to Hoddles Creek, it was an obvious choice to have Franco D'Anna make their wines. The vineyard is not subject to strictly organic management, but the philosophy with both the viticulture and winemaking is one of minimal intervention throughout the entire process.
Their 2020 Pinot Noir is a very light and bright drink. Upfront fruit compote flavours and finishing with dried herbs and cinnamon stock characters.
