2020 San Pietro Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir
Tax included.
There's not a lot we know about the San Pietro vineyard and brand, other than their Pinot Noir is a little bargain. A Mornington Peninsula wine, for less than $20 is very hard to find.
What we do know about this wine is this. The wine is matured in selected French barriques for 15 months , 15% of the oak being new. The wine is hand bottled with minimal filtration, ready to be enjoyed. It has aromas of red fruits, smoky bacon and forest floor. The palate is savoury, with strawberry & smoky paprika flavours, along with a softly tart finish.
