2023 Spring Vale 'Melrose' Freycinet Pinot Noir

Rodney and Lyn Lyne planted their first vines, on the family property in 1986. The family has farming history in the region, dating back to 1842. In 2007 they purchased a neighbouring farm ‘Melrose’ to increase their plantings. The grapes, from these vines are used for this wine. It is a soft wine and made for early consumption, with loads of red fruit flavours and can be softly chilled.
The Freycinet Coast is the driest part of the state, with an average annual rainfall of 550mm.
