2021 Patrick of Coonawarra 'Methode Nouveau' Cabernet Sauvignon

Patrick Tocaciu had been winemaking in SA for 30 years before he purchased his first block in 1990. He had held chief winemaking positions at Tollana, Hollick Wines and Heathfield Ridge Winery. In 2004 he released their first wines, under the Patrick brand. In 2013 he passed away and eldest son Luke, took over the winemaking reins. This is the first release of his 'Methode Nouveau' and only 120 dozen were made. It's fun and frivolous, Ribena aromas. The palate is light and bright with more blackcurrant flavours and prickly finish.
