A new label from old hands, Susana Fernandez and Duncan Ferguson earned a solid reputation for alternative varieties during their custodianship of Cascabel, McLaren Vale. Having secured quality fruit until their own new plantings are producing, the ethos here is for true cool climate wines of perfume and elegance, minimally handled. Vintage 2016 was the inaugural release.
