In 1995 Bill and Noel Ireland purchased the Fire Block vineyard. This dry grown vineyard is the second oldest in the region, planted back in 1926. They run it with no systemic sprays or fertilizers. The small volume of wine is made at O’Leary Walker. With the Riesling, they haven’t reinvented the wheel. Pure and citrus, with loads of minerally characters and great vibrancy.
