Stephen Black and his son are the winemakers behind the wines and their business partner is Darren Zimmerman. Darren’s family has been growing grapes in the Barossa Valley for 90 years. Most of the Small Gully wines are sent to the US where they have a huge following for their big style and bottle age. The ‘Formula’ is made with fruit off Darren’s 50-year-old vineyard. It’s a bold wine, with loads of sweet spices, chocolate, mocha and raisins.
