Chianti Trambusti was founded in 1934 by Orlando Trambusti, a wine lover and connoisseur who decided to turn his own natural vocation into a profession. Two generations on and the Trambusti family is still going strong. Their entry level Chianti was a real surprise packet, in a recent tasting (100% Sangiovese). Highly aromatic, with aromas of clove and rosemary. The palate has black forest gateau sweetness, along with savoury herb flavours. There's decent length and weight to this well priced wine.
