2019 San Marzano ‘Talo’ Puglia Negroamaro

In 1962 nineteen vine growers from the region of San Marzano, whose families had farmed the land for generations, combined their efforts to establish Cantine San Marzano. Through the decades it has grown considerably and in 2015 was awarded the Sommelier Wine Awards European Producer of the Year. Negroamaro is a grape variety native to Puglia and in particular Salento (the heel). Lovely aromatics of violets and red roses and soft red berry fruit flavours along with a rustic, earthy characters.
