2017 Massoni Pyrenees Shiraz

Founded by Leon Massoni (founder of Florentino and Tolarno restaurants) on the Mornington Peninsula, in 1984. The Glenkara vineyard, in the Pyrenees was purchased in 1997. The fruit for this wine comes off that vineyard. The wine has aromas of dark plum and the chocolate powder that goes on a cappuccino. The palate is all juiced up, with black cherry and mocha flavours and dried herbs on the finish.
