Camille Cayran is a co operative of 100 growers, established in 1929. In 2007 the growers all went to sustainable viticulture and most to organics.
The blend is 50% Grenache, 40% Mourvèdre & 10% Syrah
- 96pts Decanter World Wine Awards 2022 "Dark red color with purple tints. Powerful nose with concentrated fruits (black cherries, blackcurrant) and spices (pepper, cinnamon and licorice). Great intensity on the nose ; black cherry, blackberry, forest fruits. Spice. Earthiness. Full and concentrated, offering magnificent fruity and spicy aromas. The long and round finish with good mouthfeel is typical of the Cairanne appellation."
