Matt East is the man behind the brand. Cycling and wine are his passions. He grew up in the Yarra Valley, on the family Farm. Rouleur Wine Co was born in 2015 with the release of a Pinot Noir from the family's plantings.
Everything about this wine leans toward deliciousness! Deliberately light, weighing in at a modest 12.1% alcohol, this wine screams for second and third glasses. We didn’t try to make a blockbuster, just destemmed fruit tipped to a single steel tank open fermenter and away we go. Ferment to dryness in tank to preserve those wonderful fruits and florals, rack off gross lees add a little S02, a light filter and bottle after only 3 months in tank.
