2019 Georges Wines Clare Valley Mataro

In 2003 Nick George purchased an established vineyard in the Armagh district of the Clare Valley. All the wines come off his single, dry grown vineyard and they are made at Brian Croser’s Tapanappa winery. The Mataro shows dark cherry and peppercorn aromas. The palate has a soft earthiness, with blood plum and cherry flavours.
