2021 Vesevo 'Beneventano' Campania Falanghina

Vesevo is named after the famed volcano Mt. Vesevo, in whose shadow sit the vineyards. The vineyards are situated between 450-550 metres above sea level and are always subject to a cool breeze that blows off the Bay of Naples. Falanghina is an ancient Italian grape, reportedly of Greek origin. It makes a very floral and light, citrusy wine. We found this to be like a Pinot Grigio with a bit of grip.
