2020 Linke Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Tax included.
Linke is a 5th generation German farming family who settled in the Barossa Valley. They’re 3rd generation grape growers and since 2002 have been produced their own label, Linke. For 30 years they’ve been providing their fruit to the famous St Hallett’s winery and also to Langmeil since they started in the mid 90s. So there’s some quality fruit on show that’s for sure. This is the second vintage we’ve stocked, and boy do they know how to make big reds. The Shiraz is a big ball buster, and the Cabernet is big, but not that brutish. Look out for all the blackcurrant jam, dark chocolate flavours and sweet tannins.
