Chief winemaker at O: TU Jan Kux trained in Germany and France. He crafts European styled wines at O:TU. The winery is situated in the Wairau Valley, the coolest and driest of Marlborough’s three sub-regions. The wines are made from 100% estate fruit. The nose is confectionery with cedar notes. The palate has truffle, dark cherry and spice favours. It is a little feral and wild.
