2021 Prophet’s Rock ‘Rocky Point’ Central Otago Pinot Noir

Paul Pujol is the man behind the brand and the wines. He planted his Prophet’s Rock vineyard in 1999, with 2005 being the first release wine. He is passionate about Pinot Noir, spending many vintages going back to Burgundy to work with Comte de Vogue. The fruit for this wine comes off the Rocky Point vineyard, with very low yields. The wine is perfumed and pretty. Dark fruit compote and forest floor aromas, with more compote flavours to follow, in the mouth.
