Chateau Dauzac is a famous name in Bordeaux, with a fifth growth classification (dating back to the original classification in 1855). La Bastide is their second label and subsequently affordable. It is made up of 58% Merlot & 42% Cabernet. Blackcurrant and leafy / herbal aromas are followed by a medium bodied red, showing cassis fruit, grainy tannins and savoury finish.
