Alex Head is the man behind the wines. He has done it all from studying biochemistry, working in wine stores, importing and winemaking at some of Australia’s premier wineries. He does not own any vineyards but works closely with a number of small growers. Around ¾ of the grapes he sources are hand picked off sustainably farmed vineyards. Fruit sources in 2019 are from the following: 70YO Marananga Shiraz & 100 YO Flaxman Valley Shiraz.
