Michael Wren is the man behind this wines. He is an Aussie winemaker who spent 10 years making wine in Portugal, before COVID hit. He has now settled back here in Heathcote.
His Dao blend is equal parts Touriga Nacionale & Mencia. From a cool vintage and without any oak influence. Dark fruits from the Touriga sand crunchy acidity from the Mencia, with a touch of bottle age.
