The Golding family has a long history in the Adelaide Hills. Originally, as apple and pear merchants, however in 2002 they planted their first vines. Darren and his wife Lucy launched the first Golding wines in 2002. The fruit for this wine is off their vineyard, in Lenswood. It’s a lively wine, bursting with stone fruit, citrus and spice aromas. It is generous on the palate with citrus flavours balanced with toasted nut characters and even though it saw the inside of some new oak, the oak plays a supporting role.
