Story Cocktails Vesper Martini 97ml
The original Vesper – the 007 Martini - was named for the first Bond girl, Vesper Lynd; the only woman Bond would ever love. In the book, James orders:
Three of Gordon’s, one of vodka, half of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it’s ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon-peel. Got it? I never have more than one drink before dinner. But I do like that one to be large and very strong and very cold and very well made.

Devastated by Vesper’s fate, Bond never orders the drink again. But we think it’s too good to remain undercover.
Blended to perfection with gin, French wheat vodka and our house-made Vin de Kina aperitif.
Chill in the freezer and serve in a martini, coupe or Nick & Nora glass with a twist of lemon peel. Food matches: natural oysters, caviar, prawns, salmon teriyaki.
