Maison Besserat was founded in 1843. In 1920 Edmond Besserat married Yvonne Meric de Bellefon and the two families joined to create Besserat de Bellefon. Their claim to fame came in the 1970s where their wines were chosen to be the Champagne poured on all Air France Concorde flights.
The fruit for their Rose is sourced from 3 Grand Cru and 5 Premier Cru villages. It is a blend of 50% Pinot Meunier, 25% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay.
