2016 Watson Family Wines Margaret River Shiraz

The Watson family has been producing wine in the Margaret River for 42 years. They started, and still own the well-known winery Woodlands, and now produce wine under their family name. Their wines are all made with 100% estate owned fruit. Their Shiraz is a surprise packet in the line up. It has a touch of bottle age, but not noticeable at all. Ripe, red fruits and cinnamon aromas leads to a medium bodied palate showing more red fruits, poached pear flavours and toasty oak to finish.
