After two years of negotiations, Barbanera wines have hit our shores. They have never been sold in Australia before and in some instances, only tiny volumes were allocated. Only six outlets in Australia have access to them. These are special wines, made with love and passion.
Luca Maroni, Italy’s most famous wine critic rated them as his winery of the year in 2018 & 2020. He is like a god, in Europe and is the expert people go to when Italian wine is in the spotlight.
Their Vecciano is a Shiraz Cabernet blend and Luca rated it 99 POINTS. Earth and wild game aromas lead to a succulent and generous palate. The wine explodes out of the glass and would definitely be appealing to an Aussie palate, but with an Italian, savoury slant.
