2021 Dilworth & Allain 'Coup de Foudre' Macedon & Pyrenees
Chris Dilworth and Loique Allain started their small negociant business in 2107. They both hold down winemaking jobs and this is their side project. Chris works at Eastern Peaks and here is where the Dilworth & Allain wines are made.
The 'Coup de Foudre' allows the two to make experimental and expressive wines. 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Grenache and 20% Dolcetto. The parcels are fermented separately and blended post fermentation. They've created a punchy, bistro style wine, perfect for wintry & hearty foods. It is dark, brambly and crunchy.
