Ryan Horaczko is the man behind the brand. This is his first release. We've known Ryan for 15 years. He's a great bloke, handy footballer and now fine winemaker. During his agricultural and winemaking studies he worked with Darrin Gaffy at Principia Wines.
He made only125h dozen of this Shiraz at Principia, with fruit from the Quartz Hill vineyard. It's made in a savoury Rhone style. Sour cherry and tobacco aromas are followed by red currant fruit flavours, white pepper and a hint of mulberry tartness. The tannins are fine and soft.
