2018 Uva Non Grata Gamay Burgundy
Tax included.
Uva Non Grata (Latin for ‘ungrateful grapes’) refers to the historical downgrading of Gamay while Pinot Noir became the ascendant of the two grapes in Burgundy. Well for a forgotten grape, this wine still shines. Picked early to maintain freshness and vinified using traditional carbonic maceration techniques has produced a juicy and fun wine. Its loaded up with red fruit compote characters.
