2021 Pike & Joyce ‘Rapide’ Adelaide Hills Pinot Noir

This is a partnership between the Pike family, of Clare Valley fame, and the Joyce family, who have been orchardists in the Adelaide Hills for over 100 years. Neil Pike makes the wines and ‘Rapide’ is his early drinking range. His 2021 explodes out of the glass with loads of red berry fruit aromas. The palate has a nice fruit compote complexity, with fresh herbs and drying tannins.
