2018 Domaine Chatelain Burgundy Chablis
This label is part of the Maison Jaffelin stable. Founded in 1826, it is considered the smallest of the great houses of Burgundy. The young winemaker, Marinette Garnier, is Burgundy born and bred and honed her craft at some of the best (Meo-Camuzet and Comtes Lafon). Her 2018 Chablis shows ripe pear citrus and honeydew melon. The flinty palate is typical of the style, along with grapefruit and sherbet.
