Otto Dal Zotto arrived in Australia, from Italy in 1948 and settled in the King Valley. He purchased land years later and grew tobacco until planting vines in the 1980s. Otto and Elena worked the land, sold their grapes and brought up 4 boys. Two of those boys, Michael and Christian have now taken over the operation of the property, Michael being the winemaker. Their new labels are very stylish, with pictures of all the flavours found in the wine. We found anise and fennel aromas and a thrust of dark fruit flavours, with bracing acidity.
