2017 Vigneti Radica Abruzzo Montepulciano
Rocco Radica planted vines, on the family property in the 1950s. For many years he sold his fruit off until his son, Antonio joined the family business and established their brand and purchased more land. Antonio’s sons, Giacomo and Rocco Jnr are now involved. Their Montepulciano is made with fruit off a vineyard planted in 1973. The packaging gives a clue to the fact that this is a modern wine. There’s no oak influence and the wine is nice and juicy, with crunchy acidity.
