2017 Paroo Wines 'Lachlan' Sunbury Shiraz

Peter Gell produces tiny volumes of wine (only 41 dozen of the 2017 was made) for his brand. He is a winemaker at Galli Estate and he accesses fruit from them. The grapes are basket pressed and the goes through a wild ferment before going in to French oak.
An elegant Sunbury Shiraz with nice red fruit characters and some interesting spicy aniseed notes.
