2017 Maison Jaffelin ‘Les Chapitres’ Burgundy Pinot Noir
Founded in 1826, Maison Jaffelin is now considered the smallest of the great houses of Burgundy. The young winemaker, Marinette Garnier, is Burgundy born and bred and honed her craft at some of the best (Meo-Camuzet and Comtes Lafon). Her 2017 release has perfumed red fruits and a bright palate of strawberry shortcake and cinnamon flavours.
