2017 GH Von Mumm '50th Parallel' Rheingau Riesling
In 1811 Gottlieb Mumm, a wine merchant, purchased grapes and started his own wine brand. Two hundred years later his brand is still going strong. The 50th Parallel reference comes from the location of the vineyards where the grapes for this wine are grown. The 50th degree of latitude runs through the centre of Rheingau. It's a trocken style (dry), full of orange blossom, lime and minerally finish.
