2016 Diez Cabellero 'Crianza' Rioja Tempranillo

This is a third generation owned and run winery (Victoria at 83 years old still is hands on). They produce three Tempranillo wines, from fruit off their own vineyards. Their 'Crianza' spends 15 months in French and American oak. It has delicate black fruit aromas, with more of the same in the mouth, along with hints of licorice and poppy seed flavours.
