2015 Vina Salceda ‘Crianza’ Rioja Tempranillo

Vina Salceda was established 50 years ago, so relatively new for that part of the world. They have a modern outlook on the Rioja wines. Their ‘Crianza’ is made up with Tempranillo 95%, Graciano 3% & Mazuelo 2%. Twelve months in American oak and with a little bottle age makes for an interesting drink. Leather and charcoal aromas and a dry palate of fresh herbs and red berries.
