Trapiche is Argentina’s largest producer, and they’ve been around for more than 130 years. They release some of their wines on to the marketplace with a generous amount of bottle age. This 2008 still looks very young and vibrant. Inky colour, black forest gateau aromas and dark cherry and spice flavours, chalky tannins to finish.
