Chateau Meyney is one of the oldest properties in the Medoc dating to 1662. The 51 ha is planted with 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 15% Petit Verdot. Now under the ownership of CA Grands Cru, no expense has been spared in making top notch wines. Incredibly youthful with aromas of blackcurrants, blackberry leaf, tobacco, black olive, toast and a light peppermint character. The palate is dry and tightly wound (it will reward decanting). The fine grained tannins support the intense yet tightly wound fruit. The flavours live on the mouth for ages. Excellent quality!
