Trapiche is one of the largest exporters of Malbec, in Argentina. They own large plots of land and work with over 200 growers. They have wine growing history dating back to the 1880s. Their ‘Oak Cask’ is a step up to the Trapiche $20 Malbec we also stock. There’s more interest and personality. Black fruits with smoky oak, and peppery finish.
