The man behind the brand is Trent Burge, Grant Burges’ son. He is a sixth-generation winemaker. He is in the early 30’s and after a stint playing county cricket in England came back to the Barossa and his destiny. His ‘Double Trouble’ is a Shiraz / Cabernet blend. Shiraz is the driver and it comes off a 70-year-old vineyard. Mocha, toffee and sesame seed aromas and a medium bodied palate with black cherry flavours, a hint of mint and some grippy Cabernet tannins.
