2019 Los Hermanos Manzanos Rioja Tempranillo Blanco
The Manzanos family has been growing grapes and making wine, in the Rioja region for 130 years. Fifth generation brothers, Victor and David are now the custodians of the vineyards. Their Tempranillo Blanc is such an interesting wine. It’s only 12% alcohol but packs a fair punch. Dried herbs and gingerbread biscuit aromas and a palate with toffee apple richness and great acid structure. A great alternative to Chardonnay.
