2017 Quealy 'Iki-Jime' Preservative Free Mornington Peninsula Field Blend

This wine was made and blended for the 'Iki-Jime' restaurant, which was part of the Vue de Monde Group. Due to COVID19 it has closed its doors for good. We've picked some up through the wholesalers.
A blend of Friulano, Moscato, Giallo, Malvasia & Riesling that has been left on skins for 6 months and matured for 6 months in barrel and amphora.
The wine is softly oxidised, with lolly banana and tinned pineapple aromas. The palate is a red wine drinkers white as its textural and rich, with a grapefruit tang on the finish. It is both unfined and unfiltered, with no preservatives added.
