In 1962 nineteen vine growers from the region of San Marzano, whose families had farmed the land for generations, combined their efforts to establish Cantine San Marzano. Through the decades it has grown considerably and in 2015 was awarded the Sommelier Wine Awards European Producer of the Year. The fruit for this 'Sessantanni' comes off 60 year old bush vines.
