2006 Lambert Vineyards 'Museum Release' Canberra Chardonnay

We looked at eight museum releases, from this now defunct winery. Three were exceptionally good. The Riesling, Chardonnay and Reserve Shiraz.
The Chardonnay is a cracking little wine. Hazelnut and caramel aromas lead to a full bodied palate, with nougat and cashew flavours and a creamed honey texture. It's noticeable that it an aged wine, 10 years maybe, but not 18 years old.
